Indulgences

Well, my plan was to indulge in all the forbidden foods from now until January so I could enjoy them before they are banned forever. But I don't think I will survive my own cravings!
YUCK!
We feel yucky eating out a few times a week, drinking pop a couple times a week, and making pancakes for breakfast. Justin is lethargic and I've just caught another cold after eating fast food and going to a Christmas party and indulging in wine coolers, fatty appetizers and sweets.
It's funny how you still don't learn from this. Usually food and health seem like a far-off link. Like, if I eat some junk food today, maybe in 20 years I may be fat or get cancer. But lately the link is getting closer and closer. Like if I eat junk today, tomorrow I pay for it. Or how you feel really crappy after eating a double-cheeseburger but the next day you want another one!
I guess it goes to show that it's all addictive.
I've heard that fast food companies add things to their meats to distinguish it for your taste buds to get addicted to their type of food. I've also heard that sugar can be as addictive as some drugs.
So here I am, sick of being sick, but still postpone healthy eating until my deadline. No thoughts to, "if i eat better starting now, I will start feeling better now." Insanity...
